Serving food and plenty drinks all day don’t let your night end early! Live music til the wee hours with their favourite local artists keeping you entertained.
The mighty Globe Bar will be open from 11am and expecting a crowd so make sure you are in tuit suit to get a good spot. They are keeping the party going with DJ Colin Barry spinning ALL the floor fillers – are your hands ready to go up?
Bar Salsa jumping on the Rugby bandwagon as a wild card in the Cowgate Sport viewing circuit. Drinks from £1 you say? Rude not to really.
Then the king of screens – The ever shy and retiring – Stramash is open from 12pm for food, drinks and a day of 6 Nations action! – Make sure you save some energy though… At 18:00 the screen goes up and it’s live music all the way with the mighty Torridon taking to the stage about 21:30. The lovely people at the Evening News wrote some words about it all – Go have a look what El Steverino said.
If Rugby is not your thing then do not fret pet, we have a ream of entertainment across the town.
Looking for something a tad more sedate the Villager is there for you. (The new menu is so ridiculous I have had to ban myself for a few days – these jeans have definitely shrunk) They are giving a big up to the ladies of the world too in their own special way. Part of the FAIR fortnight a selection of their cocktails will be sending money to support ASOMART, a charity working to empower women all over the Salar de Uyoni in Bolivia.
Finally… for all the late night stompers, body poppers and the cosmic starry eyed crew check out the noise from the Hasties Close Massive. La Belle and The Mash : Keeping the neighbours awake?
Cheese and biscuits – that’s a lot of stuff.
