THE ROYAL MILE TAVERN
The Royal Mile Tavern is an old school, traditional Scottish pub. So amazing they say that Mary Queen of Scots probably drank here (or at least that’s the word on the street). Proper traditional Scottish tavern slap bang in the middle of touristville.
Don’t let that put you off though as this haven is home to many a local too. The food – delicious. The whisky list – epic. The real ales – plentiful. The staff – second to none. And last but not least – live music every night! Kids are welcome too if they behave (if they don’t – we make them into delicious pies). A pure braw night oot!
