We use a wordpress plugin called ‘Sumo Rewards’ which is used to reward users for placing orders or engaging with the website on a points based system (liking posts, making comments etc). In order to keep a record of and tally a users points, it generates a log on each users interactions. We have a list within the backend of WordPress which is a record of each action a user has participated in that earns points. This list is used for two reasons only – firstly it is required in order for users to be able to redeem their points at the checkout and secondly, so we can identify frequent and loyal users should we choose to reward them.
