Glenfiddich 12:
One of the best-selling single malts in the world, Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a fresh and fruity dram that is made with the same Highland spring water used by the distillery since 1887. Bright aromas of crunchy apple, juicy pear and blossom honey fill the nose, before a sweet and fruity palate that offers notes of butterscotch, fresh cream, soft malt and gentle oak spice.
Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old:
A bona fide modern classic from one of Speyside’s most beloved distilleries, this best-selling single helped to introduce the world to the concept of cask finishing when it arrived in the early-1990s. Initial ageing in bourbon barrels creates a gentle palate of apple tart, honeyed cereals and vanilla cream, while secondary maturation in sherry casks adds dried fruits and toasted nuts. This is an easy-going and elegant whisky with a great sense of character, ideal for newcomers to single malt and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
