Y’all right?  It has been a while, but we are BACK.

To say we have missed you is a bit of an understatement.

The OTPC is busy getting ready to welcome everyone back and first out is the mighty GLOBE.

The Globe Bar will be opening the doors again on Wednesday the 29th of July at 5pm.

There will be a few changes to make sure we can give you the very best of what we have to offer in the safest possible way.
So have a read below and we are here to answer any questions you may have.

We have a LOT of sports to catch up with, including the FA cup final, the new Scottish football season and the resumption of the Europa League and Champions League!

We are excited!

So how do we visit?
Book a table! Simply email us at info@globebar.co.uk – this is the easiest way to book for a sports game, work drinks or a catch up and guarantees your spot at the same time. Pre bookings are open NOW. So be quick.

Just walk in! Simply come in like you normally would. If we do not have any tables free, you will need to wait for one to become available. You’ll likely need to wait outside so please keep that in mind if you don’t want to book.

Do I need to wear a mask?
No. Wearing a mask inside the bar is totally up to you. Our staff may have a mask on while they go about their duties, but you do not have to.

Is there a time limit for bookings?
No. We will not limit the time you spend on your table. Normal Scottish Licensing laws will apply, and we ask you to be mindful of social distancing rules and responsible drinking.

Will your karaoke still be running?
No. For now, karaoke will not be returning until government guidelines allow for it to return safely.

Will the pub quiz still be running?
YES! Our award nominated pub quiz will be running, in a slightly different format, on Mondays. Look out for details on this later.

What about the live DJ at the weekend?
For now, live music performances and DJ’s are not quite back. We hope this will be soon but we are happy to take requests for some background music so you can hear your favourite song.

When you arrive you will be greeted and made aware of some house rules while you are in the bar and answer any questions you may have.
