Whoa
We’re half way there
Whoa-oh….
Did you finish the song in your head?
You’re our sort of people.😍
Well we’ve passed the half way point and the festival is fully bedded in.
Week 3 can sometimes feel like the Wednesday, hump day, of the Festival. Some of the excitement and sheen may have become a feeling of attrition. BUT we are here for you with some top pics from the staff and music to fill your soul back up.
You can also escape the madness at the Halfway House – perfectly set up for NO FRINGE PERFORMANCES and a jolly wee haven when you need a peaceful pitstop.
Top pics this week come from the mighty Canons Gait staff
Isabella Charlton is not upset her dad f*cked the nanny and neither should you be. Her average life became great. From Hong Kong and back, this show will take you along one twisted, irreverent comedian’s real life, seemingly endless—and hilariously disastrous—journey of self-discovery.
On every day from 13:00 – 14:17 (very precise!) Free Fringe so pay what you like – money that folds is preferred but large golden nuggets also acceptable. All seats have been filled every day so get down early to avoid disappointment. NOT ONE TO MISS!

Before he became a stand-up, Alex Leam’s first showbiz career was as a mobile DJ. He dreamed of Ibiza but ended up doing weddings. He came out of DJ retirement as he needed new material. Expect to have your favourite songs ruined. “Alex Leam is very dangerous, in a good way” -Tony Slattery “A winning line in self-deprecation” -Chortle
On nearly every day from 15:15 – 16:10 and same rules as above.
For the musical part of the proceedings please refer to our very snazzy website as there is just too much to list and it’s all amazing so I canny even pick a favourite. (Stramash Ceilidh but don’t tell the other pubs please?)
Have an excellent week and may the festival shenanigans always swing in your favour.
